Here Comes the…Bride?? Wha? For reals?

Closer!!  Ah!!

Still on the hunt for a job.  Some things seem promising?

In other news, just got back from my fiance’s sister’s wedding.  It was absolutely beautiful!  Now, I’m getting ready for mine.  Luckily, I’ve had soooo much help.  I could never have gotten things together without my friends and family.  Samazon! created an amazing wedding website for me.  Visit it at www.weddingkeiss.com.  My friend KP will be taking care of the pictures, and Lauren PLEASE! will be baking the lovely wedding cake.  I can’t wait to see everyone!!  I owe them all a HUGE

thank you!

Much love to you all!

Nice Day!

Aside from cleaning the house, here are some little Easter coloring pages I’ve been working on…The troop party is on Sunday and even though we don’t have kids, I suppose Brandon and I will still go.  But for now, the dog (Gillam) has tracked mud in the house and the cat (B) is chasing the poor little rabbits outside.  Although, she’d never actually do anything to those things if she ever did catch up with them.  Simple B-ket.  I guess it’s off to finish the cleaning…lame…

Internet is Back.

So - I need to start updating this website.  It is a MUST!  But right now, I am busy caring for a pup, cat, and fiance.  I’m even more busy designing a friend’s wedding invitation, making cards for the guys overseas, and painting an awesome new mailbox for the house.  Let’s not forget the job hunt either.  And the loans roll in - AH!

Who would have thought that I wouldn’t have time for the internet after waiting sooooo long to get it?

The Big Move.

So it’s 2010.
New year, new beginnings.

Between January 1st to now, I have already had to pack up my belongings and say goodbye to Charlotte, North Carolina and hello to Clarksville, TN, endure blustering, single digit winds,  experience a tiny off-roading adventure in the old Honda Civic (snow and ice were involved),  and to top it all off, I even enjoyed a nice, cold, snow blanketed 2 mile hike up to my soon to be house located in the small “southern pride” town of Bumpus Mills, TN.  One adventure after another.  AND I LOVE IT! I’m sure there is much more to come and I say, bring it on!

Currently, I am living in a small hotel room with the boyfriend.  Packed full with just about all of our belongings…including a 46 inch TV.  We’re in the process of getting a house.  And not just any house, but a lake house.  It’s beautiful.  So I can’t really complain about Bumpus Mills, TN.  It really isn’t that bad.  It’s kinda cute actually.  While waiting for our loans to get approved and the negotiations to go through, I’ve been on the hunt for jobs.  Nothing very interesting at the moment, but then again, I haven’t been looking too hard just yet.  However, I have noticed that I am really starting to miss having my studio space, MAC, and drawing table.  Not to mention my B-cat, friends and family.  At least I know one person here in TN - and even though we’ve been living in a 20X30 room, we are still managing to enjoy each other and explore the area around us.   Paducah, KY had an AWESOME art district and Clarksville’s is growing.  Nashville isn’t too far away either.  I’m hoping that as soon as my studio is up and running, I’ll have the inspiration to get back to what I do best.  Cannot wait.
